The Gulf Coast Bears are presenting the 13th Annual Mr. Gulf Coast Bear Contest weekend August 15th thru 17th. This year’s theme is "BIG RIG Trucker Bears!" The event will be at B-Bob’s Downtown, 213 Conti St., Mobile, AL.

 

The Contest is on Saturday August 16th and is a fundraiser that benefits South Alabama CARES, Mobile’s HIV/AIDS outreach organization. The Gulf Coast Bear & Leather Association has contributed over $40,000 to local charities. Visit www.GCBLA.com for more info.

 

Friday Night ~ August 15th

Leather Contest Night! The Southern Renegades group will kick the weekend off Friday night around 9:00p.m. at B-Bob’s Downtown, Mobile, AL. This year the Southern Renegades will be hosting the First Mr. Southern Renegade – Mobile leather contest. The winner from this contest will be entered into the Mr. Louisaina Leather contest in New Orleans in October. We ask that you ALL wear leather or a uniform to the bar that night to represent the club!!  This is a great time to meet and greet some of the out-of-town Men that will be here for the weekend!! Hot Men On A Hot Summer Night!!

 

The Southern Renegades and Gulf Coast Bear & Leather Association will be hosting fundraising efforts that night for their clubs!

 

Saturday ~ August 16th

Judges and Contestants Reception. There will be a reception from 4-7:30 pm for the judges, contestants, sponsors, GCBLA members and their guests! We will be gathering at the pool area at our host hotel the Radisson Admiral Semmes Hotel, 251 Government St., Mobile, AL.   The Gulf Coast Bear & Leather Association will provide the food and soft drinks. The Radisson is allowing you to bring canned beer and there will be a cash bar available at the reception!

 

13th Annual Mr. Gulf Coast Bear Contest! “BIG RIG Trucker Bears!”

Watch The Bears Compete For Cash & Prizes!!

·         Dress in your favorite “Bear” attire and prepare to be entertained as HOT Burly MEN compete for the coveted title… “Mr. Gulf Coast Bear 2008!!” The contest will begin promptly at 10:00 p.m.  Judges need to be at B-Bob's by 8:30 pm!! Contestants by 8:45 pm.

 

·         There will be 4 categories in the competition: Judges Interview, Bear Wear, Swimwear/Boxers and Jockstrap!! This should prove to be the “HOTTEST” Bear Contest to-date!!

·        This contest is a fundraising event.  It costs nothing to enter the contest. The prizes for this event are: 1st Place - The honor of representing the Bear Community to the World, a fabulous trophy, $150.00 cash and gifts galore!! 2nd Place - $50.00 cash.
